An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted with the director beginning 10:00 AM and ending at 2:46 PM. There were 62 children, ages 3 months through 5 years old, in care during the inspection. The children were observed playing with manipulative, being read a story, and singing songs. The children were observed eating lunch which consisted macaroni and cheese with meat crumbles, broccoli, peaches, and milk. Children were also observed during nap time. Ten children?s records and five staff records were reviewed and in compliance. Five medications were reviewed. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather band radio were observed and in compliance. The emergency escape drill log was reviewed and in compliance. The most recent emergency escape drill was documented as December 13, 2017. The most recent shelter in place drill was documented as April 6, 2017. The most recent lock down escape drill was documented as April 6, 2017. The most recent fire inspection was documented as August 2, 2017. The most recent health inspection was documented as September 30, 2017.
