Discussed the fingerprinting process.
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted from 9:30 am-12:30. There were a total of 119 children with 21 staff members present. Children were observed engaged in group activities; legos, story, art, play dough and bubbles. A selection of staff and children records, medications and other documents were reviewed. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-240-D-5 Description: Based on record review and staff interview, there is not at least one staff member on duty who has obtained within the last three years instruction in performing the daily health observation of children. Evidence: There is not a staff member that is present during all hours of operation that has training in daily health observation. One staff obtained training November 2016, her hours are 8:00-5:00. Plan of Correction: We will schedule training for some of the staff for this month.
