Comments:
An unannounced renewal study was conducted today beginning at 11:40am. 9 children were directly supervised by 2 staff members. Ratios were in compliance. The physical space, 4 children's records, staff records, the Emergency Preparedness Plan, evacuation drills and attendance records were reviewed. No medications were on site. Required documents were posted. Overall record keeping was in good order. Children were observed with bathroom/handwashing procedures and eating lunch. Lunches were brought from home. Story time was also observed. Staff were actively engaged with the children and interactions were positive. The space was clean and organized.
