A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted from 10:50 AM to 6:45 PM to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Today, there were thirty-nine children, ages infancy through five years, with nine staff. It was reported that six school age children received supervision by staff before school this morning. I determined compliance with requirements for operational responsibilities, allergies, food service, record keeping, reports, caregiver training, hazardous substances, behavioral guidance, hand washing, emergency planning and drills. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found. Let me know if you have any questions. 540/430-9259
A compliance history is in no way a rating for a facility.
The online compliance history includes only information after July 1, 2003. In addition, the online compliance history includes information regarding adverse actions that may be the subject of a pending appeal. An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights. For compliance history prior to July 1, 2003, or information regarding the status of pending adverse actions, please contact the Licensing Inspector listed in the facility's information. The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) is not responsible for any errors in or omissions from the compliance history information.
