Discussion of the subsidy regulations and how they apply to the Child Day Center (CDC).
A Subsidy Health and Safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted at the Kiddie Academy located in Leesburg, Virginia. This inspection was conducted on 02/12/2018, between the hours of 10 am through 3 pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An Unannounced Monitoring licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Standard #: VENDSUB-000-031-B-1 Description: Based on review, reunifications procedures were not available for review. Evidence - 1. On the date of inspection (02/12/2018), procedures to address reuniting children with parents or authorized person designated by the parent to pick up the child was not available for review. 2. While a scenario was listed for an evacuation, what to do after; reuniting a child with parent, was not included. Plan of Correction: Corrected on the date of inspection.
