Background check information was reviewed.
The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced monitoring renewal inspection from 11:10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. There were 9 children in care with 2 staff and one intern supervising at all times. The children were observed at circle time, playing a group game inside, and positively interacting with staff. Four staff and five children?s records were reviewed. No medications are being administered at this time. Areas of non-compliance are identified on the violation notice. If you have any questions, please contact your licensing inspector at 276-698-9981. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-60-A Description: Based on record review, the center did not have all the required information in the child records. Evidence: 1. The inspector reviewed five children's records. Two of five records did not all the required information. Record #1 had a blank where allergy information is asked. Record #5 had a sensitivity listed but did not have the action to take if the child were to be exposed. Plan of Correction: The director will get the information from the parents and completed the record.
