A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on February 13, 2018 between the hours of 10:45 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Seventy-three (73) children were enrolled and nineteen (19) children were in the care of six staff members on this date. One additional staff member was present and assisted, as needed. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined covered all of the subsidy health and safety requirements. Only the subsidy requirements that were not covered in the licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. One violation was found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection and was identified on the violation notice.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-006-B-11 Description: Based on review of six children's records, review of children's food allergies and discussion with staff #1 on February 13, 2018, the program failed to obtain a written allergy care plan for child A. Evidence: 1. Review of children's food allergies and child A's medical record, on this date, determined that a written allergy plan was not on file for the child's diagnosed food allergy. 2. Staff #1 confirmed the diagnosed food allergy and lack of a written allergy plan. Plan of Correction: The child's parent will be contacted and a written allergy plan will be obtained.
