An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted this date. A total of 17 children with 4 staff present. Children were observed finishing lunch, washing hands and transitioning to naptime. The older children rested for a period of time and then were able to transition to another programming area for activities while the younger children continued to nap. Walk thru and observation of the physical plant was conducted, a review of 5 children's records and all staff records was completed. Emergency procedures reviewed and evacuation drills verified. The center was decorated with some art activities completed by the children. Ample books, equipment and supplies were available and maintained in an area which is accessible to the children. This allowed the children to freely access equipment independently. This inspection began at 12:20pm and ended at 2:50pm. Thank you for your cooperation today.
