Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 2/23/18 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Today's inspection took place from 3:40pm-5:50pm. A total of 44 children were in the care of 4 staff present. 5 children's records, 4 staff records, injury reports, medications, evacuation/shelter in place drills and emergency supplies were reviewed. Children were observed during homework time, handwashing, snack, and while playing in the gym. Gold fish, milk and applesauce were served for lunch today. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found. Please contact me if you have any questions at Ivaco.Clarke@dss.virginia.gov or 571-835-5505.
