- Technical Assistance:
The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety inspection Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 1:35pm to 4:20pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The infants were observed resting in their cribs. The other children were observed resting on cots. All classrooms and playgrounds were inspected today, as well as the facilities buses. Six children?s records and seven employee records were reviewed during this inspection. The center administers medication and it was reviewed. The center's first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected. Last Evacuation Drill: 2/9/2018 Last Shelter In Place: 9/5/2017 Last Lockdown Drill: 03/02/2017 Last Fire Inspection: 10/26/2017 Last Health Inspection: 9/14/2017 Total enrollment today: 72 Today, the following child to staff ratios were observed: Infant and toddlers ?4:2 Twos and Threes- 20:2 (restime ratio) Fours- 44:3 Kindergarten and 1st grade -18:1 School Age-41:3 A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
