An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted on 03/07/2018 from 10:10am - 1:50pm. A monitoring inspection was additionally conducted at this facility is a licensed child day center. At the time of the tour there were 48 children in care with eight staff. The children ranged in age from infant - five years. Records were reviewed for eight children and four staff. Seven medication reviews were also conducted. Children were observed during morning program time, lunch and nap.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-004-F Description: Based on observation and interview, the center failed to post, or keep in a way that is immediately accessible to staff, a current list of all children?s allergies. Evidence: 1. Child 1, who has a diagnosed food allergy, was not on the posted allergy list in his classroom. a. Classroom and management staff verified that child 1 was not listed on the allergy list. Plan of Correction: This information was added to the posted allergy list in the classroom during the inspection. Child 1 was recently diagnosed with this food allergy and the family just notified us on Monday, March 5, 2018.
