Comments:
This visit took place in the afternoon between 2:30pm-4:15pm there were 51 children with 5 staff within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed arriving from school dismissal, free play, snack, painting, arts & crafts, reading/doing homework, and actively engaged in self-selected activities such as electronics, board games, and ball. snack consisted of fruit cups and graham crackers. Positive interactions were observed during this inspection. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, fire drill log, attendance and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-270-A
Description: Based on observation of the physical plant, the following area were found not being maintained in a clean, safe and operable condition. Evidence: Upon arrival, chipped/peeling paint were found along the column/pillars in the cafeteria near the refrigerator.

Plan of Correction: Site Director provided written documentation showing documentation that a work order was placed with School Principal. Site Director stated that she will have the areas re-painted/touched up by the end of the week.
