Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on March 14, 2918, to review supplemental health and safety requirements. This on-site visit was conducted from 2:20 p.m. through 5:10 p.m. There were twenty-six children in the care of three staff. Five children's and five staff records were reviewed and updated. The medication and medication paperwork was reviewed for one child. Areas observed were: arrival, snack, hand washing/bathroom procedures, free choice activity, homework and departure. Interactions between the children and staff were observed as positive. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Please contact me at 540-430-9256 if you have any questions and/or if I may be of assistance with licensing standards.
