An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 7:15 - 8:30 am in conjunction with a Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI). There were 19 children present, ranging in age from six years to ten years of age, with two staff supervising. the children were observed participating in board games, a large group game with a ball, washing hands and eating morning snack. Morning snack served today was apples and milk. Two staff records and three children's records were reviewed and in compliance. Two emergency medications and authorizations were reviewed and in compliance. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-260-B Description: Based on observation, and interview with the director, there is no documentation of annual approval from the health department. Evidence: The last documented health inspection was 11/30/16. Plan of Correction: A health inspection was conducted last fall. We will obtain the documentation from the inspection.
