An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted in the Center on March 28, 2018. There were 16 children present with 2 staff. As reported, 20 children are currently enrolled. The children were observed in their classroom and in the school cafeteria during the lunch meal. The Licensing Inspector observed the children during varied activities which included table top activities, a teacher directed activity, and individually selected centers. Staff were observed interacting with the children and read a book to them. A sample of 5 children's records was reviewed. A fire inspection was conducted in the Center on 03/27/18. Please request a copy from the school office once the written report is issued and retain for your records. Prescribed medications were observed for two children. Both staff assigned to the center have current medication administration training (MAT). The first aid kit was observed and documentation of the practiced emergency drills was reviewed. After lunch, the children prepared for nap time. There were no observed violations during this inspection. A discussion was held with staff regarding initial applications and the revised application.
