A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on April 3, 2018 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. At the time of inspection, 85 school age children were directly supervised by 8 staff and ratios were in compliance. Children were observed during arrival, interacting positively with staff, and transitioning to their activities. Children were observed completing homework and doing quiet activities. There was an adequate number of staff with current certification in medication administration, CPR and First Aid, as well as daily health observation training and Virginia Preservice Training. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found. If you have any questions regarding this inspection, please contact the Licensing Inspector at firstname.lastname@example.org.
A compliance history is in no way a rating for a facility.
The online compliance history includes only information after July 1, 2003. In addition, the online compliance history includes information regarding adverse actions that may be the subject of a pending appeal. An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights. For compliance history prior to July 1, 2003, or information regarding the status of pending adverse actions, please contact the Licensing Inspector listed in the facility's information. The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) is not responsible for any errors in or omissions from the compliance history information.
