63.2 Facilities and Programs..

Comments:
An unannounced inspection was conducted at 430-530 PM. There are 34 children enrolled but only 23 present at the start of the inspection. The children were in groups and had choices for activities. Snack did match what was listed on the menu. The Inspector reviewed children's records, staff training certificates, fire drills, and permits. The Inspector observed children being picked up during the afternoon and observed staff greeting parents. The program has a variety of equipment and materials accessible for the children and hazards were in locked cabinets. Please call with questions 703-479-4679

Description: Based on observation, the center is not maintaining a piece of equipment. Evidence: 1. The refrigerator in the classroom has a broken handle that is not secure to open the door.

Plan of Correction: I will put in a work order.
