An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today, beginning at 10:10AM. 34 children were directly supervised by 7 staff members. Ratios were in compliance. The physical space, 5 children's records, 4 staff records, the menu, evacuation drills, attendance records and medications were reviewed. Required documents were posted. The space was clean, organized, and contained an abundance of age-appropriate materials. The center follows the Reggio Emilia curriculum. Children were observed playing on the playground, engaged in yoga classes, manipulative play, and interacting with each other. Interactions between staff members and children were positive.
