Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with the director beginning at 7:50 AM and ending at 9:15 AM. There were 22 school age children in the care of 3 staff members. The children were observed playing board games, playing with manipulatives, and doing arts and crafts. The children were also observed eating breakfast which consisted of pancakes or cereal and cheese sticks, raisins, and milk. Hand washing procedures were observed. Ten children's records and two staff records were reviewed and in compliance. Five medications were reviewed and in compliance. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather-band radio were observed and in compliance. The emergency escape drill log was reviewed and in compliance. The most recent emergency escape drill was documented as 4/2/18. The most recent shelter-in-place drill was documented as 4/4/18. The most recent lockdown drill was documented as 1/8/18. The most recent health inspection was documented as 12/21/17. The most recent fire inspection was documented as 8/2/17.
