An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection was conducted on April 17, 2018 from approximately 11:25 am until 2:10 pm. At the time of entrance there were 14 children and 6 staff members were present with children. The sample size consisted of 5 children's records and 2 staff records. Children were observed eating lunch and preparing for their afternoon rest period. Previous violations were reviewed and corrected. Areas of non-compliance are identified on the violation notice. The results of the inspection were reviewed with the site manager. Please the licensing inspector, Christine Mahan (757) 404-0568 with any questions.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-031-B-1 Description: Based on observation and interviews, the vendor did not ensure there were procedures to address reuniting children with parents or authorized person designated by the parent to pick up the child during an emergency to include evacuation, shelter-in-place and lockdown emergencies. Evidence: During the inspection on April 17, 2018, there were not any reunification plans documented in the emergency preparedness plan. Plan of Correction: The site manger will update the plan.
