Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 04/20/2018 between 7:10am-9:00am to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 20 children with 3 staff within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed arriving to morning SACC, building pyramids, making super hero capes, drawing/coloring, doing mock peer interviews, actively engaged in self-selected activities such and dismissal to class. Positive interactions were observed during this inspection. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children, and provider records, fire drill log, medications, and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found. If you have any questions, please e-mail me at Mayasah.Thomas@dss.virginia.gov
