Technical Assistance:
Discussed playground and the requirement for shade during the months of June, July and August.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted this date. A total of 44 children with 8 staff present today. All four classrooms were observed. One class was observed outside during playground time. Classrooms were decorated with artwork completed by the children. Earth day was celebrated where children decorated paper lantern balls and created earths out of them. Lady bug paper plate artwork on display and one class was in circle time learning about ants and their colonies. Medication on site and was inspected. Authorizations and effective dates were determined complete. A total of 5 children's records were reviewed and found complete. MAT (medication administration training) training and first aid/CPR certifications were checked today. Staff records are reviewed annually in the administrative office.
