A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 4/25/2018 from time to time to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 28 children supervised by 3 direct care staff. The physical plant, 3 staff records, 4 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed playing board games, completing homework assignments, playing pool, and building with Legos. There was an abundance of books, toys, and materials, which were found to be developmentally appropriate for the children in care at the time of inspection. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found. If you have any questions regarding this inspection, please contact the Licensing Inspector, Anansa Archer-Hicks at (703) 268-3295 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
