An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted from 10:00am-12:30pm. At the time of entrance, 38 children were in care with 9 staff members present. Children were observed during circle time, taking a walk outside and engaged in group activities. Infant care was observed(feeding, sleeping and playing). A selection of staff and children records, staff training, emergency drill record, and other documents were reviewed. There were no medication on site today. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-280-B Description: Based on observation, hazardous substances were not kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children. Evidence: 1. In the Giraffe classroom, a cleaning spray was inside an unlocked cabinet. Plan of Correction: A lock was placed back on the cabinet immediately.
