A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 4/30/18 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Licensing Inspector arrived at 10:45 AM and departed at 12:15 PM. At the time of the inspection, there were eight children (ages two through four years) in care with two staff. Children were observed washing hands, lunching and napping. The sample size was three staff and three children. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-032-A Description: Based on review of the documents available at the facility, it was determined that the vendor did not ensure that a lockdown drill was completed at least annually. Evidence: The facility had not completed a lock-down drill in the past year. Plan of Correction: Center management will ensure that a lock-down drill is conducted annually.
