Please contact OBI with any questions about finger printing. 804-726-7884 Reviewed the changes to the background checks, they are all good for 5 years. The LI will send the Adam Walsh link for staff that have lived out of state of VA in the past 5 years.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 9:00 am-12:30. There were a total of 41 children with 12 staff members present. Children were observed during snack time, engaged in group activities and outdoor play time. The playground and surfacing was inspected. There is a new fence surrounding the outside area and the downstairs walls have been recently painted. A selection of staff and children records, medications and other documents were reviewed. Standard #: 22VAC40-191-60-C-2 Description: Based on record review, staff central registry finding has not been completed within 30 days of employment. Evidence: Staff #1, first day of employment 11/16/17 does not have a completed central registry finding. Plan of Correction: The form was returned on 1/11/18 for missing information. The staff completed the missing information and the form will be mailed today.
