Comments:
An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection was conducted on May 7, 2018 from approximately 9:20 am until 2:00 pm. Upon entrance there were 30 children in care and 5 staff present with children. The record review sample consisted of 5 children's records, 5 staff records and the background checks for the owner. Children were observed singing, coloring and eating lunch. The infants were observed sleeping and freely playing. The results of the inspection were reviewed with the center director. Description: Based on observation and staff interviews, the vendor did not ensure that for each group of children, the vendor shall maintain a written record (hard copy) of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs. Evidence: During the inspection on May 7, 2018, there was not documentation of daily attendance in the infant room, the toddler room, two's room and preschool room.

Plan of Correction: The center director will make sure the forms are in the classrooms.
