Discussed with the Program manager: Only finger print checks are required as a Criminal Record Check. No Virginia State Police check is required. Also discussed covering the sandbox when not in use in addition to the end of the day.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted beginning at 11:00 and ending at 12;50. There were 58 children present, ages 5 months - 5 years. There were 11 staff. Children were observed having lunch, getting ready for nap, napping and having school pictures taken. Infants were observed playing, being fed and interacting with staff. Reviewed medications for 5 children - complete Reviewed 6 staff files and 8 children's files - complete Emergency escape drills and shelter in place drills are up to date as are Health and Fire Inspections.
