Children were observed eating snack, being fed, listening to a readaloud, playing with puzzles, and playing outside. The four playgrounds were inspected. Required information was posted. Both the fire inspection (10/2/17) and health inspection (11/21/17) are current. The last emergency escape drill was 4/25/18. The last shelter-in-place drill was 11/14/17. The last lockdown drill was 3/14/18. Four staff records, six children's records, and three medications were reviewed. A licensing monitoring inspection was also conducted (see separate report). A compliance history is in no way a rating for a facility.
The online compliance history includes only information after July 1, 2003. In addition, the online compliance history includes information regarding adverse actions that may be the subject of a pending appeal. An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights. For compliance history prior to July 1, 2003, or information regarding the status of pending adverse actions, please contact the Licensing Inspector listed in the facility's information. The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) is not responsible for any errors in or omissions from the compliance history information.
