Discussed the following requirements: 1. Immunizations must be received prior to a child's first day of attendance. 1. Staff must be finger printed and center must have results before the staff member may start at the center. 3. Retaining records for two years after staff or children separate from the center. 4. Moving the license and inspection report near the front door.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 9:00 am-11:00am. At the time of entrance, 14 children were in care with 3 staff members present. Children were observed during free play, listening to the teacher read books and lining up to go on a walk to the park. A selection of staff and children records, emergency drills, procedures and other documents were reviewed. The center is clean and organized. There were no violations cited this date.
