Thank you for your time and assistance with the unannounced monitoring inspection conducted on October 18, 2019. The on-site inspection was from 1:45 p.m. to 4:10 p.m. On this date, there were 22 children present in four classrooms and in the care of five staff members. Two extra staff members were available to assist if needed. The total enrollment for the program was 32 children. There were no violations of the licensing standards issued. There were five staff members' records and five children's records reviewed. Four classrooms were toured and observations were made in two of those rooms. Five staff members and three children were interviewed. The new policy stating that the center will not administer any medication was in place and all parents had been made aware of the change in policy. Some items that were reviewed and observed included: required posted information, documentation of evacuation and shelter-in-place drills, emergency supplies, first aid kit, outdoor play equipment, updated insurance policy, nap time, infant care, infant feeding, diaper changing procedures, hand washing and bathroom procedures, transitions, snack, free play, and dismissal procedures.
