An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 9:35am-11:40am. There were 32 children directly supervised by 7 staff and all classrooms were in ratio. The physical plant, outdoor playground areas, programming, menu, 5 staff records, 6 children's records, 5 medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed painting, playing outside, coloring in journals, doing puzzles, and learning about sizes and shapes. Lunch served today was taco pie with lettuce, tomato, and cheese, whole wheat bread, mixed fruit, and milk. Positive interactions between children and staff were observed during this inspection. There was an abundant supply of age appropriate materials for the children and the center was clean and organized. No violations were found during today's inspection.
