An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with the center director and center staff on May 30, 2019 to determine compliance with the licensing standards. There were 17 children present, ranging in age from 2 years to first grade, with three staff actively supervising. Nine additional school age children arrived on the center van. The younger children were practicing for graduation. The children had snack (muffins and milk) and engaged in age appropriate activities including coloring, blocks, and puzzles. Five children's files were reviewed and are in compliance. Staff files were reviewed at the other location earlier today. There are no medications on site today; two staff are current in Medication Administration Training. The last health inspection was conducted 5/6/2019. The last fire inspection was conducted 11/7/2018. Evacuation drills have been conducted monthly; the last shelter in place drill was conducted 3/6/2019.
