A complaint inspection was initiated on 7/6/2023 and concluded on 7/6/2023. There were 18 children present with four staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of , staffing and supervision, programming. A total of three staff records were reviewed. The inspection started at 10:25 am and concluded at 12:50 pm.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-420-C Complaint related: Yes Description: Based on interviews the center failed to ensure that a custodial parent shall be admitted to any child day program. Such right of admission shall apply only while the child is in the child day program (? 22.1-289.054 of the Code of Virginia).
Evidence:
Staff #1 stated that the custodial parents are allowed in the vestibule but not in the area that child care is provided. The reason given was due to illness and that there are children in care that are in custody situations.Plan of Correction: Not available online. Contact Inspector for more information.
