An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted on March 2, 2023 from approximately 11:50 am to 2:00 pm. There were 129 children in attendance and a total of 29 staff present. 10 staff records and 10 children?s records were viewed. All areas of the center were observed including classrooms, bathrooms, and the playgrounds. The children were observed playing in centers, practicing cutting, listening to stories by a guest reader, getting diapers changed, playing outside, and eating lunch, while the licensing inspector was on-site. The center was having pajama day and was celebrating Dr. Seuss.
A complete licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in the licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
No violations were cited as a result of this inspection.
