The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced monitoring inspection on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 between 10:40 am to 12:45 pm to determine the provider's compliance with licensing standards at the child day center. During this inspection, there were 63 children in care and 16 staff including administrative staff present at the center. The licensing inspector completed observations of the children in care participating in a variety of activities to include playing with age appropriate equipment, preparing for feeding, engaged in active play with peers, participating in various centers in the classroom, and engaged in circle time interactive reading. The center's classrooms, bathrooms and designated childcare areas were inspected. The first aid kit and emergency supplies, posted emergency contacts, emergency drills, liability insurance, and injury reports were reviewed by the inspector. Medication is being administered, medications, and written authorizations were reviewed for the center's compliance. There were seven children?s records and six staff's records reviewed during this inspection. There were no violations cited during this inspection.
