This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on 4/15/2021 and concluded on 4/15/2021. The director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 12 children present and 4 staff. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 2 children?s records and 1 staff record submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-510-C Description: Based on review of one child's emergency medication, the center did not have documentation of a current long term medication form as required. Evidence: the long term medication form for Child A's medication expired 7/2020. Plan of Correction: Center director will get the parent to complete a short term medication authorization until the one signed by the physician can be obtained.
