This initial inspection was conducted virtually by licensing staff, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
An announced initial inspection was initiated on July 24, 2020 and concluded on July 27, 2020. The facility and all areas for child care were toured virtually. Some items reviewed during the inspection included: required posted information, parent pick-up procedures, emergency maps and procedures, first -aid kit, emergency supplies, one agent background checks, one staff record, and the emergency plan. A recommendation will be made for an initial six-month conditional Child Day Center license with a capacity of 50 children and an age range of four years eight months through twelve years 11 months. There were no violations noted during the inspection.
