This initial inspection was conducted virtually by licensing staff, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
An announced initial inspection was initiated on March 29. 2021 and concluded on March 30, 2021. The facility and all areas for child care were toured virtually. Some items reviewed during the inspection included: required posted information, parent pick-up procedures, emergency maps and procedures, first -aid kit, emergency supplies, outside play space, two agent background checks, and the emergency plan. A recommendation will be made for an initial six-month conditional Child Day Center license with a capacity of 125 children and an age range of 6 weeks through twelve years 11 months. There were no violations noted during the inspection.
