22.1 EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND EDUCATION

A monitoring inspection was conducted today, January 13, 2023 as a follow up to the inspection conducted on November 10, 2023. The inspector was on site from approximately 12:30 pm until 3:45 pm. The director was present and assisted in the inspection. There were 32 children present, ranging in ages from three months to five years, with six staff supervising. Children were finishing lunch and preparing for naptime. Later the infants were observed playing on the mats with toys and staff. Handwashing was observed. Interactions between staff and children were positive. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of four child records and four staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. If you have questions regarding this inspection, please contact the licensing inspector.
