A renewal inspection was initiated on 01/22/2024 and concluded on 01/22/2024. There were 68 children present, ranging in ages from5 years to 11 years , with 10 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 8 staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined noncompliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-160-C Description: Based on staff record review, the center failed to obtain results of a follow-up tuberculosis screening at least every two years from the date of the first initial screening.
Evidence:
1. The record of staff #2 did not contain an updated tuberculosis screening or test. The date of the tuberculosis screening in the file was dated 11/15/2021.Plan of Correction: The staff will be sure to have the staff get their updated screenings/tests before the two year expiration.
