Evidence:
The following supplies were not in the licensee's first aid kit: antisepticPlan of Correction: The licensee will add antiseptic to the first aid kit.
Standard #: 8VAC20-800-770 Description: Based on observation the licensee did not ensure all required emergency supplies were kept and available to the caregiver at all times.
Evidence:
The licensee did not have a a working portable battery-operated weather
band radio, and extra batteries.Plan of Correction: The licensee will get a battery operated weather-band radio and extra batteries for the home's emergency kit.
Standard #: 8VAC20-800-290 Description: Based on observation the licensee had sharp kitchen utensils accessible to children in care.
Evidence:
The kitchen island had an unlocked drawer that contained various various sharp kitchen utensils and tools.Plan of Correction: The licensee will move all sharp objects in a place that is inaccessible to children.
