8VAC20-790 Subsidy Program Vendor Requirements for Family Day Homes

A Subsidy Health and Safety monitoring inspection was conducted on February 28, 2024 to review supplemental health and safety requirements between the hours of approximately 10:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. There was 1 child (2 points) present with the provider at the time of the visit. The child was observed playing with a play kitchen and with blocks. Children's and caregiver files, emergency preparedness procedures, fire drill log were reviewed. The physical plant and outdoor play space were observed. There were 4 medications on site at this time. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
