A unannounced renewal inspection was initiated and concluded on 5/24/2023.? There were 8 children present with the provider and 3 staff supervising. The point total was 22. Upon arrival the children were engaged in outdoor play and observed during lunch and getting ready for nap time. A total of 5 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed. The inspection started at 10:50 am and concluded at 12:45 pm.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-140-B-1 Description: Based on document review and provider interview the center did not ensure to have documentation of a high school completion or equivalent or evidence of having met the requirements for admission to an accredited college or university.
Evidence: The provider confirmed the record for staff #3's file did not contain documentation of education.Plan of Correction: Documentation of staff's education was copied and placed in file.
