An initial Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on July 19, 2023. This on-site visit was conducted from 10:30 a.m .through 11:30 a.m. Upon arrival, there were 14 children ranging in ages from 4 months through 10 with 5 staff supervising. Six children records and six staff records were reviewed. The medication and medication paperwork was reviewed for one child.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-770-A-2 Description: Based on revied of medication the center failed to have one prescription medication in the original labeled container.
Evidence:
1. Medication and medication paperwork was reviewed for Child #6.
2. Albuterol Inhaler for Child #6 was found not in the original container with the pharmacy label attached to include the name of the child, dosage amount and time(s) to be given.
3. The director confirmed the Albuterol inhaler for Child #6 was not in the original container with the pharmacy label attached.Plan of Correction: Medication will be returned to the parent. Medication will not be accepted without being in the original container with pharmacy label attached.
