A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection was conducted on 11/12/2019 from 10:00 A.M.-3:00 P.M. to review supplemental health and safety requirements. At the time of the inspection 32 children were in the care with seven staff, and one administrator present. Six children records, five staff records, first aid kit and emergency supplies, emergency plan, evacuation drills, fire inspection, health inspection, parent handbook, outdoor play area, and required posted documents were reviewed. Children were observed during diaper changes, handwashing, free choice activities with blocks, dramatic play, cars, storytime, outdoor play, transition to lunch, lunchtime, and naptime. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during the supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
