Comments:
The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced health and safety inspection on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 to determine the center's compliance with subsidy standards. The inspection begin at 12:40 PM and concluded at 2:10 PM. There were 21 children present, with 3 staff supervising. The center's director was present for the inspection. During the tour, the inspector observed the children napping. Indoor and outdoor play areas, buses, and restrooms were inspected. Five children's records and five staff records were reviewed during this inspection. The center's first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected. The center's first aid kit and non-medical emergency supplies were inspected and found complete. The required postings were inspected and found to be incompliance. Liability insurance, health inspection, and drills were all in compliance. Medications and authorizations were reviewed and in compliance.

A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
