A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on September 26, 2023. The inspection began at 9:15am and concluded at 10:55am. There were 23 children present with 4 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-600-D-1 Description: Based on review of staff records, the center failed to ensure that all staff had current certification in CPR.
Evidence:
1. Staff #2's CPR certification expired on 3/12/2023.
2. Administration verified that the CPR certification was expired.Plan of Correction: Will get it done ASAP.
Standard #: 8VAC20-790-600-D-2 Description: Based on review of staff records, the center failed to ensure that all staff held a current certification in First Aid.
Evidence:
1. Staff #2's first aid certification expired on 3/12/2023.
