Standard #: 8VAC20-790-600-B Description: Based on a review of ten staff records and interview, the vendor did not ensure two staff members completed the Virginia Preservice Training for Child Care Staff within 90 days of subsidy vendor approval.
Evidence: 1. The record of Staff #6 and the record of Staff #9 did not contain documentation that the staff have completed the Virginia Preservice Training for Child Care Staff. 2. During interview, a member of management reported the staff have not completed the training to date. The center became a subsidy vendor on 10/03/2023.Plan of Correction: Per the Center: The staff members are actively working on completing the training and will be a part of their staff file as soon as they complete it.
