An unannounced monitoring inspection took place on November 6, 2019, beginning at approximately 8:35 AM and ending at 11:00 AM. Staff records were reviewed during a separate inspection, at another location. During the inspection, there were 19 children in care today with 4 staff present. There were no medications onsite during this inspection. All areas that are used for care were observed, as were five children's records and all 4 staff records at a separate site. The inspector looked at first aid and emergency supplies, drill documentation, and required health and fire inspections. The children and staff were observed during the following activities: arrival, playing with blocks, breakfast, music time, and hygiene practices. There were discussions about sanitizing chemicals and the smoke detector. There were no violations during this inspection.
